Defrost squid half way, slice squid into 1/4 thickness. Sprinkle with 1
tbsp of sake and set aside.

Cut carrots into 2 inch length and thin stick ( see picture
above). Also cut Nira into 2 inch length.

Cook carrots in boiling water for 3-4 minutes. Remove water from heat
and carrots from water. Quickly submerge squid in hot water for 10
seconds.

In wok or frying pan, bring 2 tbsps of cooking oil to hot. Cook
Nira and carrots f or 2-3 minutes on high heat. Flavor with salt, sugar 2
tbsps sake, and pepper. Add squid and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Mix well, remove to plate, and serve.
